Gibson / Les Paul - 57 PAF Conversion Goldtop / 1954 / Guitar

A lot of nice stuff has passed through our shop lately, but this 1954-57 Conversion Goldtop with PAF pickups might just be one of the coolest things we've seen. And yes, these are the real deal PAFs. No Patent Numbers, no tar-backs, no reissues but original holy grail PAF humbuckers. These pickups once belonged to another guitar of course since this Les Paul used to have P90s, but they fit just perfectly and sound even better. Originality wise there is a lot of points to cover, what we have found: Replacement no-line, single ring Kluson style tuners Newer frets Original pickup rings Original PAF pickups original no wire ABR replacement aluminum stopbar (original in case) Original knobs Pickguard bracket original Replacement pickguard Original 3-way and washer Original pots (IRC, 1952) mostly original wiring Conversion P90-humbuckers, top refin light overspray back/neck The instrument sounds phenomenal, but almost as importantly; it plays buttery smooth. With a perfect setup, no volume difference between the both pickups, problem free electronics and great feeling neck (no baseball bat, just a perfect rounded D) you'll be picking away for hours on end. Included is a 60s Les Paul case which contains the original tailpiece.  Specifications Model: 1954-1957 Les Paul Conversion Finish: Goldtop Body Material: Mahogany Top Material: Maple Lefty No Body Details: Crème binding Neck Material: Mahogany Neck Profile: 1950's Les Paul Rounded D Fingerboard Material: Rosewood Fingerboard Radius: 12” Neck Details: Pearloid 'Trapezoid' inlay, creme binding. I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.

We do speak English, Dutch and German! Feel free to call in any of these languages and ask your questions! Call 0031-523-232205
