1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Ebony finish in excellent condition. The guitar once had Grovers installed but the original Wafflebacks are back on and the tophat knobs are newer reissues. There has been some minor work done around the bridge posts but otherwise there are no repairs! The electronic is untouched with all original solderjoints, the 4x matching pots are stamped 137.73.48, dating them to 48th week of 1973. The guitar has been professionally refretted (no tiny fretless wonder frets) which makes it play like butter. It's only the 5th year of the Les Paul Custom with maple top and one of the last years with mahogany neck and ABR-bridge (with the bridge post screw drilled directly into the wood). The original Gibson "T-Top-Humbuckers" are still 60s versions with the Pat.Nr. waterslide decal on their backside. Great sounding guitar - it's very loud and resonant even acoustically! Comes in it´s original black Gibson hardshell case w/purple plush.
