1975 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Wine Red finish in excellent - 100% original - condition, with original red-lined Gibson hardshell case, serial number 549XXX. This is a beautiful and totally straight 75 Les Paul Custom in a really attractive finish. There are very light scratches, a bit of wear on the headstock edge, and some wear to the gold plated parts - but otherwise, this Custom is clean! Original frets, as well, that are in really great shape considering their age. You will find some light dings in the guitar's front, and some light worming on the backside, and that's about it. This guitar has that classic Les Paul Custom sound - nice and bright and articulate attack, killer sustain. Some of the Wine Les Pauls from this era are quite dark, but this one has a nice 'glow' to it - really pretty finish! There is an area on the guitar's top that looks to be a long scratch that was rubbed out - the line is hardly visible - but is worthy of mention. Not visible from most angles. Pot codes are all 75 dated, pickups of patent stamp - covers have never been off. This is a killer example of a mahogany neck mid 70s Les Paul Custom.
