Now available on consignment, a 1992 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Wine Red.
This example of a 90s Gibson Les Paul Standard has been well played, however has survived without any breaks or repairs. There is some buckle rash and play wear mainly on the back of the body to note, otherwise the guitar shows the usual signs of play for a 34 year old guitar.
The original pickups have been swapped out at some point for a newer set of Gibson '57 Classics, the originals are not included. The only other changed parts are the knobs, and strap buttons. Otherwise all other parts remain original including all of the plastics, hardware, and wiring harness.
Sonically, this guitar is typical of a good Gibson of the period, being resonant, clear and precise, with a sweet tone all the way up the board. A fairly medium weight, strung with 10-46 strings, and plays clearly & cleanly with a medium-low action.
