Marty Lanham, the man behind the Nashville Guitar Company, has been playing and working on musical instruments for over thirty years. He is famed in the USA, and he is often compared to the likes of Jim Merrill and Wayne Henderson. Marty built a name as one of the finest banjo and guitar makers around. His clients are luminaries such as Chet Atkins, Earl Scruggs, Marty Stuart, David Grier, Bela Fleck, Sam Bush, Pat Enright of the Nashville Bluegrass Band, Johnny Cash and Steve Martin — Marty built the Florentine reproduction that Martin played during his stand-up years. Hence you can imagine what quality we talk about here. Nashville Guitar Company instruments are just what the name implies – guitars that sound and play like the pre-War classics. Marty uses the highest quality materials to produce custom-built, hand-crafted instruments that will stand the test of time. This is a D18 model based on a 1939 Martin with hide glue construction and Adirondack top, mahogany b/s, amazing sounding Full hide glue construction throughout, still with a trussrod, lightweight construction with only 1.95kg. Amazing quality at a very reasonable price. a Nasville Guitar Co. D-18 bearing serial: #06149, it has some play and pickwear but very little, the sound is among the best you can dream of in a D18 model. Comes with case and 1 year warranty. I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
