Petros / Grand Concert Ziricote / 2009 / Guitar

Since establishing Petros Guitars in 1972, Bruce Petros has been building unique, custom, handmade acoustic guitars for discriminating guitar players and guitar collectors. By meticulously constructing each instrument from the finest master-grade woods and using innovative techniques, their guitars are some of the most sought after instruments in the world. There are several features that distinguish Petros Guitars from other guitar makers like the pre-stressed arched top, unique bridge-plate system and backwards tilted bridge. Anyone looking for a guitar that will do both fingerstyle and flatpicking, and do it well? After numerous requests for just such an instrument Petros Guitars decided that after 30 years of perfecting just two models, perhaps there was a legitimate need for a third model. The Petros Grand Concert: A guitar that does it all… with a sensuous and riveting sound that will awe you in standard tuning and melt you in alternate tunings. Dimensionally between the FS (fingerstyle) and D (dreadnought), it is sensitive enough to use light gauge strings and sturdy enough for mediums. This 2009 Grand Concert was constructed using deeply figured Ziricote Rosewood for the back and sides in combination with a tigh-grained and dark Cedar top creating a complex, powerful and warm tonal character. The maple bindings and detailed abalone inlays which can be found on not only the body, but also the neck and headstock provide this instrument with a certain "panache" befitting an instrument of this class. The condition of this pre-loved guitar is excellent, it truly looks sery clean with only several small dings in the finish of the top, and back of the neck and headstock. Includes original hardshell case which contains a strap. ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
