R&R / 00018 12 Fret Honduran Mahogany Adirondack / 2016 / Guitar

R&R 00018 from 2016. This 000 12-fret guitar was born out of an intense collaboration between Roman Zajicek and Rudi Bults, old guitar-friends, Roman the accomplished Luthier, and Rudi the connoisseur and owner of the Fellowship of Acoustics, you are all familiar with. The basis for this project was a deep desire to build a guitar on a very high level, a guitar that should be able - at any level, cosmetics, tone and finish- to compete with the major high-end guitars such as made by Collings & Santa Cruz. This being an European Project, the man to ask Roman Zajicek. His enthusiasm was inspiring, and together we've we collected our mutual knowledge of vintage and new guitars and explored new techniques and inventions. Meaning this guitar is built with the best of old and new, with the single purpose to make the best sounding guitar on the planet. The body of this 12-fret was crafted using solid Honduran Mahogany for the back and sides in combination with a solid Adirondack spruce top. The bindings have been kept stylish and minimal with tortoise body bindings surrounding the body, a beautiful zig-zag backstrip and a multi-layered black/white rosette. The soft V-shaped Honduran mahogany neck has a 44,5mm (1 3/4") nutwidth and an ebony fretboard with abalone dot position markers. The ebony bridge with drop-in saddle offers 57mm (2 1/4") of string spacing making this a perfect fit for any fingerstyle player. Other features include Jescar gold frets, open geared Waverly tuners and a built in LR Baggs Anthem system. Condition is Very Good; Looks super clean with some angelhair playwear overall and nailmarks/playwear and dings in the top finish. Includes original hardshell case. ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
