Fender / Jazz Bass / 1970 / Snburst / Bass For Sale
Just in is another incredible 1970 Jazz Bass w/all the right features in exceptionally clean shape, its has an original Sunburst finish w/a few dings here & there over an insane figured Alder body (I’d swear its Mahogany) & appears to be dated the 20th week of 1970, its White Bound 4-bolt block inlaid Rosewood Neck is very clean & also appears dated to the 20th week of 1970 by its ink stamp, its back of its neck has some lovely figure to the Maple, its original Tortoise pickgard pulls this all together making it one of Fender’s best & last great Post-CBS Jazzes, its 2 pickups are super smooth w/that quintessential “Jazz Bass” sound !, its original pot codes date to the 42nd week of 1966, its so cool & original from its tuners to its bridge, other than some slight discoloration from a fee stickers in the red part of the ‘burst, it has a groovy patina for a nearly 52 year old original, it plays & feels excellent, she’s truly excellent having killer sustain & tone qualities, comes w/a period black Hard Case.
