A fantastic 2011 Gibson Custom Shop SG Standard VOS, finished in TV Yellow and in excellent condition throughout. Built to vintage-correct spec and upgraded with a few premium components by a previous ownder, this is one killer Custom Shop SG!
This model features the sought-after ABR-1 bridge and stop tailpiece configuration, giving it that rock-solid feel and tonal transfer that SG fans love - resonant, lightweight, and incredibly responsive. The pickups have been swapped out for a superb set of Throbak DT-102 MXVs, widely regarded as some of the best PAF-style pickups available. They offer articulate highs, complex mids, and that signature PAF compression and chime - making this SG a real standout in the tone department. The pot cavity houses 4 CTS pots paired with bumblebee caps. It's otherwise stock aside from a set of Schaller strap buttons.
Other key features include a bound rosewood fingerboard, small pickguard, vintage-style tulip tuners, and Gibson's VOS finish treatment, which gives the TV Yellow finish a subtly aged, broken-in appearance.
Comes complete with its original Gibson Custom hard case, certificate of authenticity, and hang tags.
