100% original guitar. Beautiful sunburst top. 1958 is the last year of the single-cutaway version, the most sought-after by collectors and players alike. One piece mahogany body, one piece mahogany neck with dark brazilian board. It's fantastic, a thick but comfortable '58 neck. Silkscreened Gibson logo with model's name, Kluson Deluxe single-line tuners, with original oval plastic buttons. Original thick black-plastic pickguard with three screws, original volume and tone knobs and single P-90 pickup with plastic dog-ear cover. This original pickup is powerful and aggressive, and gives the guitar its unmistakable randr voice! The bridge is the wrap-around bridge/tailpiece combination. Nicely grained-mahogany back. Original pots and 'bumble-bee' Sprague capacitor. This Junior has lots of beautiful checking, some body-edge wear and a few heavier marks on the back. However it is in overall excellent conditions, well-kept, very solid and all original, with an exceptional sound and the neck you dream of. New SKB hardshell case.
