Sometimes it is not so easy to date a guitar. In this case the first three digits are almost erased but the first appears to be either a 5 or an 8, which makes it a 65/66. Bridge is a tune-o-matic and the pickguard you see is not the original, but the owner ordered both new old stock, and you can see them in the photos. And once you start playing it all doubts disappear, it is a great sounding guitar. This is the guitar George Harrison played in the Milano concert, back in 1965. It comes with an unoriginal but reliable Gretsch hard shell case
