The Marshall 2558 is the rare and highly sought-after 2x12" combo version of the legendary Silver Jubilee series, originally released in 1987 to celebrate Marshall’s 25th anniversary and 50 years of Jim Marshall’s career in music. Sharing the same circuit as the iconic 2550/2555 heads, the 2558 delivers 50 watts of all-valve British power through a pair of 12-inch Celestion G12 Vintage speakers, offering both the convenience of a combo and the commanding tone of a full stack.
Powered by EL34 output valves and ECC83 preamp tubes, the 2558 is known for its rich harmonic content, tight low end, and cutting upper mids. It features the Jubilee’s unique output power switching (50W/25W) for added versatility, plus its distinctive Rhythm Clip mode—allowing players to access both sparkling cleans and classic Marshall crunch without external pedals.
The 2558’s silver vinyl and chrome-plated control panel make it as visually striking as it is sonically powerful. Whether you’re chasing singing lead tones, warm cleans, or aggressive crunch, the 2558 delivers with unmistakable Marshall authority.
Key Features:
- 50W all-valve combo with switchable 25W mode
- Valves: 2x EL34 (power), 3x ECC83 (preamp)
- Speakers: 2x 12" Celestion G12 Vintage 30

From soaring leads to chunky rhythm work, the Marshall 2558 is a piece of amplifier history that delivers both collectible appeal and legendary tone.

Condition: The amp is in great shape with the normal small nick and tears to the tolex but nothing serious and generally very nice. The chassis is very clean and mostly all original other than the service items mentioned above. Mains and output Transformers are all original.
