1959 Super Lead 100W “Plexi” – 10000 Series Head
An incredible example of one of the most iconic amplifiers ever made — this 1968 Marshall 1959 Super Lead 100W “Plexi” head comes from the highly sought-after 10000 series, renowned for its raw, open tone and unmistakable late-’60s character.
This amp retains its original laydown transformer, which are the heart and soul of that classic Plexi sound — delivering the unmistakable punch, harmonics, and dynamic response that defined rock guitar tone for generations. It’s been carefully recovered in new period-correct black tolex, keeping it clean and gig-ready while preserving its vintage core.
Fully serviced and tested by our in-house amp engineer, this Super Lead is 100% stage-ready and performing exactly as it should — tight low end, articulate mids, and that unmistakable Marshall roar when you open it up.
