In a booth full of Jackson, Charvel and Ibanez guitars, this is the beauty that caught my eye. If there ever was a guitar that looked regal and royal, it would be this DC-127. The gorgeous trans purple, adorned with the gold hardware make up one very attractive and attention getting package. It's almost like it would be the perfect wedding guitar!
The first thing I did was to detail and restring the guitar with fresh strings. It played okay, but I knew that it needed that "Midas touch," so I took it over to the lair of our tech extraordinaire, the one known only as "El Jefe." Now, he will not let me hang around to watch him work, so I have to either sit in the driveway or come back when he's through, but the finished product is a guitar that plays and sounds as good as it looks. This is a classy guitar package that performs as you would expect- with excellence.
There is some pick swirling below the high "E" string and a few light surface scratches on the back. You'll have to look for these as they are light. The case has also been detailed and cleaned, so the guitar will arrive ready to rock straight out of the case.
