This is a very rare, first year 1955 small box tweed Fender Deluxe with its original soft cover in near MINT condtiion an d100% original! I doubt if you will find a cleaner example out there...
Owned by the boss for around 15 years and very occasionally used, this amp sounds unreal. All you need to do is just turn it flat out and use your guitar's volume control and satisfaction will be guaranteed.
It is super clean, all original tweed Tolex, ironwork, and components etc with matching numbers on speaker, transformers and everything else that has a number. All components are original including the caps and it works brilliantly well.
Stunning, unmarked top panel and just a few marks here and there. It is also complete with the orginal Victoria Luggage soft cover which is something you do not see very often and an impossible to find part for a small box Deluxe!
This is THE classic tweed Deluxe 5E3 circuit that everyone desires and when you plug it in you will realise why this is.. This incarnation was only made for one year and is the most collectable version of the tweed Deluxe, it is highly unlikely that you will find a nicer example anywhere for sale right now.
This is something that is going to be difficult to part with but I think it is time to pass on to someone who will appreciate it as it just does not get used anymore. We took this to a school recently and demonstrated how old school guitar and amp control works and the kids were totally amazed being brought up on modelling units. Everyone loved it!
So there you go, my beloved tweed Deluxe is finally up for sale. Grab it while you can before I change my mind...
