Fender / Esquire / 1963 / Blonde / Guitar

Without a doubt, the finest 1963 Fender Esquire available right now. This one is just about MINT, almost time capsule condition and needless to say, totally original in every which way possible.

There is hardly a mark on it anywhere, virtually no fading and the all original finish is still as bright and vibrant as it left the factory in fall of 1963. There is just a tiny amount of fret wear, no fingerboard rutting at all and no wear marks on the back of the neck so whoever has played this, did so with great care and attention.

Even the all original hardware looks virtually brand new including the threaded steel saddles (usually the first to rust) are not too bad and the knobs, control plate look brand new. If this was presented to us as a guitar that is just a few months old we would not blink once, the fact that this stunning instrument is all of 56 years old just beggars belief. You have to see it to believe it, you really do!

Included with this incredible guitar is a fair bit of case candy including original manual, strap, cloth, strings, various picks, bags and other fun stuff including some Selmer guitar polish. The case is an early 64 no logo case and is the very same case this was sold with. This case as well is in mighty fine condition.

There are just a few tiny dings around the edges that would prevent us from describing it as totally mint or as new and if you look in our gallery page you will see what we are talking about. Just have a look at the amazing condition of everything including the hardware. Even the ashtray bridge cover looks as new.

It plays perfectly with a great low action and has a very resonant body with good acoustic volume. The pickup of course is the heart of the Esquire and this all original 1963 Tele pickup is powerful, full and has the most succulent, meaty bite to suit the most discerning of connoisseurs.

Well what a superb package this is. We defy you to find a cleaner one and I do not know of anyone who would be at all disappointed with this totally exceptional guitar…
