Fender / Mustang Competition / 1969 / Blue / Guitar

A very nice, first year of production, 1969 Fender Mustang in Competition Burgundy which I believe is how Fender originally described this colour. It is all correct, includes its correct hard case and is in very nice condition indeed.

The very cool feature about this particular one is the matching headstock has faded to a super duper cool ‘purple burst’ which we think looks totally awesome. Please see the many pictures in our gallery page to see what we mean. The way this has faded looks great with the white logo and is a cool touch that you do not see that often on these Mustangs.

Everything works on this lovely guitar and it is a nice player having had little wear on the factory original frets. Action is nice and low too and it is a breeze to play. Included is a correct hard case in grey and black with an orange lining.

If you are looking for a first year Competition Mustang, in arguably the nicest colour of there lot then this very cool guitar should be pretty close to being at the top of your list…
