Super rare, transitional Fender Strat only made for a couple of months in late 1971. 100% original in every way and near MINT too..!
Included is the original tolex case, manual, bridge cover, trem arm, strap, case key and pick all in unfaded condition - a real good, solid future investment that won't break the bank in todays money.
This version was only made for a very short time in late '71 and features a 3 bolt neck with 4 bolt bridge, block, with 'pat pend' saddles and single string tree. It is one of the very first 3 bolt Strats to leave Fullerton in 1971 and this one is rock solid - a perfect fit and as good as any 4 bolt I have come across, no sloppiness here and a real killer Strat.
It looks as if it has hardly been played which is a great shame as it is a joy to play and as you will see in the forthcoming video Dafydd thought this was one of the best guitars of the day.
100% original in every way - neck date of September 1971, all pots date to 12th week of 1971 and late 1971 serial number. All solder is intact and no finish issues or touch ups.
Plays beautifully and all 3 pickups sound bliss.
