A lovely original American Vintage series Fender Stratocaster from 1986, the very first year of production in the new Corona factory. Much fuss has been made about the American Vintage Strats and Teles from this era and this guitar goes a long way to demonstrate how these early examples were really quite special guitars. Keen to make a new name for themselves after a management buy out in 1985 Fender pulled out all of the stops to ensure that these were their flagship guitars. This example was bought from the original owner who was kind enough to include the original purchase invoice in the with the sale. All the candy is present and the guitar is all original apart from having the supplied five way switch fitted. The original three way is inlcuded in the case. A stunning guitar in great condition, with some checking in the lacquer as one would expect. Plenty of fret life left too! This highly collectible instrument is easily Custom Shop quality and if kept in its current condition will appreciate nicely in value as the years march forward.

Coffee House guitars is a new (for 2019) boutique guitar shop selling only used, high end American and Japanese guitars from the well known brands. The shop is owned and run by Julian Deverell who has been playing, buying, collecting and selling guitars for 25 years. The shop is based in the warehouse of The Regency Chess Company, a niche chess set business that Julian also owns.
The aim is to make available a good selection of lovely guitars that have been expertly set up and are at their optimum, frets dressed, polished and ready to rock! The shop is in a custom built coffee shop (hence the name) that serves only the worlds best speciality coffee. We may not be the worlds best guitar shop, but we certainly serve the best coffee you’ll find in any guitar shop in the world! We are a ‘by appointment’ business so please get in touch prior to visiting. We can ship all over Europe using either UPS or DPD tracked and insured couriers.
