This Fender Telecaster ’52 Reissue is part of the exclusive Fender Custom Shop MBD series. This is a series Fender created for Musikhaus Hermann in Germany and is built by the Custom Shop in close collaboration with Dale Wilson, Senior Master Builder at Fender.

As soon as you pick up this Telecaster, it’s immediately clear that an exceptional level of time and care has gone into every detail. The frets are expertly dressed, and the rolled fingerboard edges give the guitar a broken-in, effortless feel, making it remarkably comfortable and inspiring to play.

The previous owner was not entirely satisfied with the original finish and relic work and therefore decided to have the body refinished by Javier Alemany. Alemany worked for many years at Nacho Guitars, renowned for their highly historically accurate Telecasters, and now builds guitars under the name Candy Old Guitars. The guitar now features a beautiful finish with a subtle and authentic relic treatment.

The guitar is fitted with a ’51 Nocaster bridge pickup and a Twisted Tele neck pickup. This is a superb combination: the bridge pickup delivers the classic Telecaster tone with plenty of twang and high end, without ever becoming harsh. The neck pickup sounds very warm and round, with a character that is somewhat reminiscent of a Stratocaster.

The guitar comes in its original case and includes the bridge cover, the guitar’s certificate, a certificate for the refinish, a strap, and more.
