Fender / American Vintage Telecaster 64 Reissue / 2012 / Sunburst / Guitar For Sale

Very beautiful and lightweight Fender Telecaster ’64 Reissue from the American Vintage series. This series, produced between 2012 and 2017, is highly sought after due to the thin ‘flash coat’ nitrocellulose finish and vintage specifications.

The thin lacquer, the colour of the sunburst finish and the dark rosewood fingerboard strongly remind me of genuine mid-’60s Fender guitars.

The guitar has plenty of acoustic volume and is very resonant. Once plugged in, this Tele sounds excellent: the neck pickup is open and warm, while the bridge pickup delivers the characteristic twangy Tele bite.

The neck features a comfortable C profile and a vintage 7.25” radius. The guitar is well set up with a low action. The guitar weights only 3,35 kg.

The guitar is completely original except for the nut, which has been replaced with a bone nut. The original case and paperwork are included. Due to the thin finish, clear signs of wear are visible, especially along the edge of the body (see photos).

If you have any questions or would like to see more photos of the guitar, please feel free to get in touch. The guitar can be shipped, but you are also very welcome to view and test it in The Hague.
