Marshall / JMP 50 1986 Model + 1982/B Model Cab / 1971 / Black Tolex / Amp For Sale
Why have one when you could have both?
JMP 50 1986 Model Head
Cosmetically this head is in great condition. There are marks to the tolex but its free of tears and there are no extensive sections of wear. The piping is unbroken and the small logo is correct and unbroken.
The metal front is in excellent condition with only slight damage to one digit.
As you can see, the bulgin power inlet has not been changed and the amp comes with the original power cable provided by Marshall. We would recommend finding a more modern alternative.
Internally there doesn’t seem to be any changes as you can tell by the plethora of red ink marks on the solder joints. Drake transformers look to be correct and in good condition.
The head comes with its correct cover.
This is a great sounding head, which will come as no surprise I’m sure. Plenty of those classic tones on tap with enough volume to keep up.
Model 1982/B Cabinet
Cosmetically the cab is in good condition with a few marks and bumps to the tolex as you’d expect. Thankfully there are no signs of rips or any such repairs.
The basket weave grill cloth is in very good condition with no sign of sag or any puncture damage.
The wheels have seen better days but still work for short journeys.
The input jack and cable have been replaced. The four Celestion G12 T1281 are all present and correct, dated at 29th October 1970. The codes on the cones also corroborate this. They are all 55kHz Pulsonic cones with 014 code.
With the Marshall head plugged in there is no doubting that this is an iconic combination. If you know, you know.
These would make an excellent addition to any collection or even out on the highways and byways, smoking up stages wherever it lands. Grab them before it gets away…
Delivery price is an estimate BTW and will vary upon destination.
