1970 – KT88 Equipped Plexi
Inspection Sticker Date: 22/01/1970
A stunning example of late '69/early '70 Park engineering, this original Park 75 is essentially the “other badge” for some of Marshall’s most powerful and articulate circuits. Built in the same factory, using the same components, the Park 75 delivers that unmistakable big-bottle authority thanks to its KT88 power section — huge, tight low end, crisp highs and an incredibly dynamic, uncompressed feel.
Compared to the equivalent Marshall models of the era, the Park 75 often flew under the radar, making original examples increasingly desirable. Tonally, it sits somewhere between a plexi and a HiWatt: bold, detailed cleans that explode into rich harmonic drive when pushed. With KT88s on deck, it stays firm and punchy even at higher volumes, making it a monster for classic rock, blues, and early metal tones.
This example is in excellent working condition, recently fully gone through by Dave at Prestige Amps and any historic work tidied up with NOS parts. Fitted with Ruby KT88 power valves and Mullard ECC83's and sounding immense. The mains and output TX have been replaced with Marshall & TAD parts.
Cosmetically it shows the usual light wear for its age, but remains a very clean and well-kept example.
