Watkins / Scout & Copicat / 1963 / Black/White / Amp For Sale

A rare and beautifully preserved matching pair from a golden era of British amplification, this 1963 Watkins Scout and Copicat tape echo fin black and white are both in excellent condition and in full working order - a true time-capsule setup that's not easy to come by!

The Scout delivers a warm and articulate sound with a nice amount of grit when pushed - perfect for small-stage or studio use. Its charm lies in its simplicity and dynamic respnose, with a voicing that's unmistakably vintage-British. Paired with the original Watkins Copicat, an iconic tape delay unit used by countless players in the '60s and beyond, you get a fully authentic rig capable of everything from slapback echo to spaced-out repeats with that unmistakable tape character.

Both units have been recently serviced and are in full working order, performing exactly as they should. It's enough to see one in this kind of condition - but to find a set this clean and complete is a real collector's treat.

Whether you're a vintage gear enthusiast, a collector chasing rare British-built equipment, or simply after the unique tones these classic produce, this Scout and Copicat combo offers a special piece of UK amp manufacture history.
