1983 Fender JV Squier Stratocaster, Sunburst - a very cool early JV example from Fender Japan's now legendary Fujigen built JV series. This one features a classic 3-tone sunburst finish with a slab rosewood fingerboard with pencil neck date 5-16-83, confirming its early JV production run.
Spec includes nickel Kluson-style tuners, a 3-ply pickguard, and a set of excellent vintage-voiced pickups that deliver all the sparkle, chime and Strat bite you could want.
Condition is very tidy for its age, showing only minor signs of use and with plenty of fret life left. These early JVs have built a strong reputation as solid, reliable players - and are rightly becoming more collectible year on year.
