Absolutely beautiful and 100% original, custom colour, Olympic White Fender Telecaster from 1966 with ash tray cover, strap and original hard shell case.
Without a doubt, one of the finest and all original 1966 Teles we have had for some time here. Even the Olympic White finish has hardly faded, most we see have yellowed clear coats and are barely recognisable from faded blonde but not this one!
Stunning maple cap neck with original frets tat are in excellent shape and a lovely fast fingerboard that has hardly any wear at all.
I cannot find a single thing that has been changed on the gorgeous instrument - all hardware is original or period correct, all solder joints are un disturbed and un touched and both original pickups work a treat.
Nice, low action and a very comfortable, medium chunky typical mid 60's neck make this a real nice guitar to play. Weight is 3.6Kg.
If you looking for one of the best transitional Teles out there, I do not think you will be disappointed with this beauty...
