Lovely, body only refin 1967, transitional Fender Telecaster in very authentic looking sunburst.
The nitro refin on the body is so good that the previous owner was convinced it was the original finish and it would fool a lot of people. The neck pocket looks OK and the stamps are there but it is not quite the way they did sunburst in 1967.
Neck is all original finish with original transitional logo and probably last run of the Kluson double line tuners. Pickups and pots are original although the neck pickup has been out, then back in and the switch has been changed for a more recent CRL switch.
As far as I can tell, all hardware is original or period correct and guitar plays and sounds real nice with a resonant body and a good low action.
Body BTW, is alder not ash which means this guitar was probably originally sunburst, either that or some kind of custom colour which is always good to hear.
Weight is a nice 3.4Kg and neck is medium C profile.
A great looking, playing, sounding and feeling Tele that will not break the bank.
