Here is something you do not see every day. This is a 100% original, cherry red Gibson ES-355 TDSV made in 1959 with the desirable proper 1959 neck profile instead of the usual slimmer neck profile you get on most 1959 and later ES-355’s. 

It also has 2 x superb sounding original PAF’s, wide 43mm nut, original long arm Bigsby plus the original brown and pink Lifton hard shell case.

Please have a good look at the photos you will see for yourself the excellent condition this guitar is in. This was traded in recently from someone in France who claimed to be the second owner and it is a very fine example. There are a few dings and dongs here, some checking, one broken knob skirt and the usual bit of wear on the gold as expected, but overall it is excellent condition and importantly, the cherry is still a deep red and mostly un faded! 

Included is a Lifton brown/pink hardshell case that is a bit beat up but still functions - guitar inside is much better than the case would suggest. Please see photos

100% original in every way including the wide 1959 frets with hardly any wear, beautiful ebony fingerboard has hardly any wear too. Rarely seen long tortoiseshell guard that has not completely disintegrated. 

Serial number is mid 1959 - A31520 neck is classic ’59 profile, all wiring intact with undisturbed solder joints everywhere. Un-molested PAF pickups with one sticker still intact and the other just has a small bit left
Rare to see for sale in the UK an ES-355 that is:
a) 1959 (THE year) b) PAF’s still attached and c) PROPER larger 1959 neck profile
This means if you were looking for one of these, it is your lucky day as you will probably not find a nicer one...
If you do want to play it I can assure you it will not disappoint. It has a nice low action and both original PAF’s are evenly balanced with exceptional clarity and bite.
