1961 Gretsch G6022 Rancher (Orange Finish) | USA | Original case
We have another rare one here: a 1961 Gretsch G6022 Rancher in Orange. An all-original, Western-style jumbo that’s a lot of fun to play, with that classic Gretsch snap, great action, and smooth playability. These Ranchers tend to stay in the family, and it’s easy to understand why.
Condition notes (please read):
• As typical for this era, the binding has loosened/shrunk in a few areas with some spots chipped or separated (nothing dangling, but the material is brittle)
• Neck binding is very solid, with only a small split at the 13th fret
• Some beautiful finish checking, but the neck joint is solid
• No cracks in the wood noted
• All hardware is original: frets, bridge, saddle, nut, screws, tuners, pickguard, truss rod cover, strap button
• Includes the original hard shell case
