Epiphone / FT-110N Frontier / 1963 / Sunburst / Guitar For Sale

1963 Epiphone FT-110N Frontier (Sunburst) | One-owner “sleeper”

Hey gang, here’s a rare one: a 1963 Epiphone FT-110N Frontier, currently in a sunburst finish, and a real sleeper. This is a one-owner guitar, and we’re genuinely impressed by the sound, the kind that stands out the moment you strum it.

Finish / originality notes:
• We believe it was refinished in sunburst some time ago
• It blacklights as nitrocellulose across the body, neck, and headstock, but the finish has a flatter look/feel
• The label indicates it was originally an FT-110N (Natural)
• Apart from the finish, it’s described as all original, including all hardware

Condition notes:
• Small crack on the back of the neck (we don’t consider it a structural concern)
• Some wear throughout
• Slight splitting on some binding (please see photos)
• No body cracks and no pickguard damage noted
• Heavy divot wear at the 1st fret, but it does not affect playability
• Includes a non-original hardshell case

Tone:
Big, boomy, and very articulate, with strong note separation and clarity.

Specs:
• Top: Solid Sitka spruce
• Back/Sides: Maple
• Fretboard/Bridge/Saddle: Rosewood
• Inlays: Mother of pearl
• Nut width: 1.559"
• Neck width: 1st fret 1.603" / 12th fret 1.970"
• Scale length: 25.5"
• Weight: 4 lbs 15 oz

If you have questions or want additional photos, just reach out. We can also provide a short tone clip on request before purchase.
