Heelllloooooo! Meet our 1957 Fender Stringermaster Double 8 electrical steel, serial# 02358, in Blond with its original tweed Fender case and four original legs. This purty thang looks as good as it sounds! A staple steel and another one of Fender's diverse accomplishments, this Stringmaster is marked with Fender's block/arrowhead fretboard markers and is a 22 1/2" scale, standard for the time. A look under each bridge cover unveils a thumbroller to allow for pickup blending (single coil vs humbucker). The Tele-esque switch controls neck selections. The steel is in good, playable condition. It's got age-wear, lacquer checking-all the mojo a good steel should. We don't see much pitting in the chrome. She cleaned up real nice. This is a one owner piece.
