We are pleased to offer a 1957 Fender Stratocaster featuring the classic soft V-shaped maple neck and alder body, one of the most iconic Stratocaster configurations from the 1950s.

Around mid-1956, Fender transitioned the Stratocaster body wood from ash to alder, which became the standard material for most Stratocasters moving forward. Alder produces a balanced tone with strong midrange response and pairs beautifully with the one-piece maple necks used during the late 1950s.

The 1957 Stratocaster, with its comfortable V-shaped neck profile, has become one of the most sought-after vintage Stratocaster variations. This style of Strat was famously associated with players such as Eric Clapton, particularly during his early career.

This example dates from 1957 and remains in excellent vintage condition. The guitar shows natural wear and finish checking consistent with its age, giving it the authentic look and character collectors appreciate.

The frets and nut have been replaced at the shop to ensure excellent playability. Aside from a few bridge saddle height screws, the guitar retains its original components.

Tonally, this instrument delivers the unmistakable late-1950s Stratocaster sound, with strong clarity, dynamic response, and the rich harmonic character that has made these guitars legendary.

The guitar comes with its original Fender tweed hard case.
