We are pleased to offer a 1963 Fender Stratocaster finished in its original Fiesta Red custom color, one of the most desirable finishes from the early 1960s.

Fender officially introduced the custom color program in 1960, offering finishes based on contemporary DuPont automotive colors. Although these finishes were available by special order, relatively few instruments were produced in custom colors during the early 1960s, making examples from this period particularly desirable today.

This Stratocaster dates from 1963 and retains its original Fiesta Red finish. While the guitar shows natural playwear and weather checking consistent with age, it remains in excellent vintage condition overall.

The frets and nut have been replaced, allowing for excellent playability, while the remainder of the instrument appears to retain its original components.

The pickup cavity shows evidence of previous markings that were later removed, but no structural alterations are present.

Tonally, the guitar delivers the classic pre-CBS Stratocaster sound, with strong clarity, dynamic response, and the rich harmonic character associated with early-1960s Fender pickups. The instrument features black bobbin pickups, typical of the period.

The guitar also includes its original brown Tolex Fender hard case.
