A 1969 Park by Marshall “Park 75 Stack Set (Lead and Bass)” has just arrived.

Among legendary UK-made vintage amplifiers, Park amps are very popular, yet difficult to find. Park was a separate brand established by Marshall, created to enable direct sales without going through distributors.

The basic layout and components are the same as Marshall amplifiers from the same era, but due to differences in design and output configuration, Park amps have their own distinctive tone.

This is a 1969 Park 75, an extremely rare stack set sold as a matching head and cabinet. The head is described as producing around 50W, using a pair of EL34 power tubes. The cabinet is a tall enclosure loaded with two 15-inch speakers, supplied as a set.

Cosmetically, it shows age-appropriate wear, but the grille is in good condition and it remains very well preserved for a vintage piece. Internally, only a few capacitors have been replaced for maintenance; the main components, including the lay-down transformer, are described as largely original.

Sonically, it is described as essentially a plexi Marshall type sound, with the rich saturation associated with classic vintage plexi tones.

The cabinet uses two 15-inch Celestion speakers with spider frames, making it suitable for both guitar and bass.

With its excellent vintage Marshall-style tone and distinctive look, this is a stack set that is hard to come by. Many vintage amp fans may never have had the chance to try one, so please consider it.
