A 1965 Park Park 45 “Extremely Rare with PA Stack Set” has just arrived.

We’ve found a super rare stack set.

Among legendary UK-made vintage amplifiers, Park amps are highly popular and also among the hardest to obtain. Park was a separate brand sold directly by Marshall without going through distributors, and it was available only through select shops.

While the basic layout and parts are similar to Marshall amplifiers of the same era, later Park models featured differences in circuit design and output systems, resulting in a distinctive Park tone.

This unit is an early Park 45: a 45W head using a pair of KT66 power tubes. Its basic configuration is similar to the Marshall JTM-45 of the same era, delivering a rich, full-bodied JTM-45 type sound with plenty of headroom. It is set up for guitar, features point-to-point hand wiring, and is described as producing an exceptionally beautiful tone.

Even rarer is the matching Park speaker cabinet from the mid-1960s. It features “Radio Spares” grille cloth, described as an essential feature of early Marshall amps, and is a cabinet that is said to be very rarely seen on today’s vintage market. It is equipped with four Celestion G12 Alnico magnet speakers (two on each side), each bearing a rare Marshall-specific label.

The sound is described as a sweet, rich “scream” tone characteristic of vintage JTM45-style amps, and especially impressive when paired with a vintage Les Paul. This is presented as a once-in-a-lifetime Park 45 stack set for vintage amp collectors and professional musicians.
