A 1965 Fender Telecaster “Last Spaghetti Head Logo” has just arrived.

This is a 1965 Telecaster, described as the last year Fender used the spaghetti logo decal, a design that had been used since the Broadcaster era introduced in 1950.

This example features the classic vintage Telecaster blonde finish with a rosewood fingerboard.

There is some minor wear as you’d expect on a vintage instrument, but overall the condition is excellent considering its age. The frets have been replaced, playability is good, and the other parts are original.

Tonally, it delivers a Telecaster sound with rich low-mid frequencies, described as carrying over the pre-CBS character, making it a versatile tone suited to many styles.

Telecaster production is said to have decreased significantly from around 1960 to 1965, likely because several new models were introduced in late 1959 and early 1960, shifting production focus away from existing models. After that, with new investment and factory expansion, production numbers across models increased from the mid-1960s onward.

Telecasters from the late 1950s/early 1960s with rosewood fretboards and spaghetti-logo necks are considered rare on the vintage market, even in standard blonde, so don’t miss this one.
